Women

"They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord's that He may be glorified." Isaiah 61:3b

It is our desire to see all women grown up to their full stature in Jesus Christ. Our ministry is grounded in the Word of God and a belief that women grow best in an open and honest community. Our Women's Connection provides opportunities for connecting with God and one another on a regular basis.

Come and join us in whatever way you can. We hope to provide at least one opportunity that will work for your schedule. Children's programs are provided at most of our gatherings. We host special events throughout the year, including our annual women's retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains, as well as weekly meetings in the summer and during the school year.

Summer '08

Opportunities for women (see upcoming events on the right for more details) include a Tuesday evening book club (discussing "Ruby Slippers" in June and "The Shack" in July), a Thursday morning book club (meeting every three weeks) By the Shore, and a monthly c.a.f.e. night on July 10, Aug 14, and Sept 11 (2nd Thursdays) where women and their friends can engage in art projects, connect with one another, and indulge in delicious cakes.

Fall '08

Opportunities specifically for women at PBC are currently being planned and will likely include the Women's Connection Bible Study, MOMS, By the Shore book club, and an annual Women's Retreat. Plus more! Watch for more details later this summer.
