I was born in Jamestown, NY, beating my identical twin womb-mate by ten minutes. My high school years were in Boise, Idaho where I was raised by my sister and her husband. Stanford University, where I majored in economics, boruth me to this area. Lori and I married in 1988 and are blessed with four children: Helen, Haley, Hayden, and Harrison. I work as a marketing manager in Sunnyvale. My favorite authors include N.T. Wright and Phillip Johnson. Vacations are always with family and often in Boise and San Diego. My hobby is golf, at which I hope to become good enough to blame my equipment.
Micah 6:8 "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God."
What is currently on my hear? Parents (primarily). We all long to give our children good gifts, especially in good education. My hope, for Lori and me and all parents at PBC, is that we would teach our children:
*That the nearness of God is our good (Psalm 73)
*To have thankful hearts (Colossians 3)
*Contentedness, whatever our circumstances (Philippians 4)
The best chance our children have of learning these things is if they are true in our own lives.
