ekklesia's
midweek meeting on Stanford campus to eat dinner together and study the Bible. We start at 5:30 and eat dinner together, ranging from Italian to Thai to Mexican to Sandwiches. After dinner, we study the Bible together through some interactive teaching.
Starting in 2008, we'll be studying through the book of Revelation. Our overall theme will be understanding how God's kingdom intersects us here on earth. Fall Quarter we'll talk about how the church plays into that intersection and Winter Quarter we'll talk the future of God's kingdom.

Sunday morning college activity: food and fellowship. We gather at 10 AM at Paul Taylor's house and have breakfast together (usually involving some form of chocolate). We also spend some time getting to know each other, praying, or hearing about what God is doing in our lives. It's a great, relaxed time for college students from different campuses (Stanford, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Foothill, DeAnza) to get together and hang out before going to church as a group.
Van rides (www.needaridetochurch.com) are offered from Stanford and Santa Clara University.

This is one of our coolest programs! The chance to be "adopted" by a family from PBC. You will be split up into pairs and assigned to adoptive families. These families have agreed to host you for one to two dinners per quarter: either at their home or out at a restaurant. And they might just surprise you with some other things too.
This is a great way to get connected with other people from the church and broaden your world a bit. Believe it or not, not everyone in the world is between 18 and 22 years old. Get adopted by a family and you can meet some of those "alleged" people who aren't in college.

Come join us for lunch after the second service. It's usually a rush to get back to campus on time for lunch, so eat with us. Adoptive families from the church are invited too, so it's a good way to get to know some other people in the church body.
Gallery Opening and Worship NightJoin us for PBC's first Gallery Opening displaying work by PBC artists. It will be a time of worship with song and reflection.

Come join us for a weekend in the snow. There will be good food, plenty of space for everyone, and opportunities to ski, sled, ice skate, or just sit by the fire. More details are coming, but don't miss out on this fun winter trip...
